Trama:
Gli hunter sono forti combattenti e persone molto versatili che vivono al servizio di potenti o facendo ricerche per conto proprio. Gon Freeces è un giovane ragazzo che decide di partecipare all'esame annuale per diventare hunter quando scopre che il padre, del quale Gon non ha mai saputo niente, è un hunter molto forte e di grande prestigio. Il ragazzo si mette così in cammmino per il viaggio nel quale incontrerà i suoi migliori amici.
